Meet the team: Mina
She’s the big smile in our team who feels equally comfy on the beach and under the sea 🏊♀️, she’s our newest graphic designer!
Q: Introduce yourself with a few words? What is your job at New Wave Digital?
M: I was born and lived in the dirty downtown of Sofia till the moment I managed to escape and start living and working close to the sea as I’ve always been dreaming. I’m married, and I have a seven-year-old daughter.
I’ve recently joined NWD, and my job position is a Graphic Designer.
Q: How does a typical working day start for you?
M: With a large cup of strong coffee.
Q: What innovative technology excites you most? Why?
M: From the already invented technologies, Augmented Reality is the one which I like most. It gives the opportunity to go or view and feel someplace, which even does not exist and make and try things which you are usually not fitted, capable or scared of.
Teleportation is the one which should be invented, in my opinion. It’s super cool if you can drink a coffee with a friend at the Bahamas in the morning, then working in your office which is hundreds of km away from your sister’s home where you pass by for a glass of wine in the evening!
I’m interested in some of the smart home technologies too, as a possibility of cleaner nature and less housework.
Q: What is your SUPERPOWER?
M: The ability to laugh at me.
Q: What’s the skill you’d love to learn in future?
M: There are few, but the top three are learning 3D modelling, mastering my English and learning the Italian language.
Q: Which person (existing or dead) would you like to grab a bite with (if you have a chance)?
M: With both of my grandmothers.
Q: What is your ideal way to lose steam/to relax?
M: There’s no hesitation here — scuba diving with a friend.
Q: What is your most preferred spot in the world?
M: Somewhere close to the sea or ocean. Without ice or snow except in my glass. ;))
